Billing and Insurance Coverage

If you are planning to have this visit covered by insurance, please contact your carrier to verify that BOTH the provider and the service are eligible under your plan and insurance contract prior to this appointment.  Ultimately your insurance coverage is a contract between you and your insurance carrier; it is important to be versed in the details and exclusions of your specific contract and plan.

Although we work as a collective here at Eastside Natural Medicine PLLC, several providers are separate business entities. As such, we may bill separately, utilize different billing services, and maintain different insurance contracts. We may maintain contracts with insurance companies, but that does not mean your individual contract with the insurance company covers our services.

As of May 1, 2019, we have shifted to an in-house billing service managed by Trisha Thomas.  We are in the process of transitioning all former claims in-house from our prior billing service and to our EHR.  You will now be able to pay balances via your Patient Portal, and we are currently collecting co-pays and balances in the clinic.

If you are unsure if your insurance covers the provider that you want to see you may use our “Check Your Benefits” form below. Please be prepared to pay your copay or coinsurance at the time of service. We accept cash, check, or credit card for payment. Some providers are willing to work on a sliding scale or a time-of-service discount for uninsured patients.
