Integral Foundations Physical Therapy
Kathleen has joined Eastside Natural Medicine to bring her Physical Therapy skills in manual therapy, Women’s Health, orthopedic knowledge, and vestibular therapy to residents in the Kenmore area. She has practiced in the Seattle and Redmond area for the past 6+ years.
Kathleen’s passion is helping her patients understand why they are having a particular pain or dysfunction and utilizing manual therapy, therapeutic movement, and occasional modalities to improve their quality of life. Kathleen’s practice theory is that movement patterns require input from all systems: musculature, vestibular, lymphatics, cardiovascular, neurological, and visceral, and immune. A dysfunction in one system can lead to an abnormal movement pattern and potential injury. She focuses heavily on patient education and preventative care along with manual therapy and neuromuscular reeducation.
No matter what age, gender, or presentation, Kathleen is happy to receive anyone in need of care. You will be heard and she will work with you on a one-to-one basis. This is not a gym environment and there are no techs or assistants that will participate in your care, ensuring the utmost consistency.
Kathleen is originally from southeast Louisiana. Please don’t ask her how to make a gumbo, as her mother is still mortified from her first and only attempt years ago. She has been in Washington state for seven years and loves the mountains, the coffee and laid-back culture of the Pacific Northwest. An avid reader and podcast junkie, she enjoys topics that are centered around health, scientific discoveries, and political science.
